PERSONAL PROJECT: I’ve always wanted to do a play on a prayer candle, I just could never think of the right way to implement it. One day while cruising hfboards.com in the Boston Bruins section, I saw some amazing avatars with the spoked B used as halos on some of the bruins players. That was all i needed to see, the idea just seemed to fit perfectly with my prayer candle project.
So, thanks to the creative people on hf boards for the inspiration. I actually started this project before all the White House controversy with Tim Thomas, however as I was finishing it, (post-controversy) it dawned on me to use the American flags and the stars which ended up providing a perfect backdrop to this project.
Would pay large sums of money for these.
